my cd disk thing doesnt open-HELP

somebody please help
my disk thing doesnt open...there is just a green light flashing...whats wrong, and how can i fix it?...as you can tell i am computer illetrate
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can manaully open the drive by sticking a paper clip in the little hole on the front of the drive.

Assuming there is one, some of my drives dont have one.

I take it you've tried rebooting? you might want to try terminating any processes that may be accessing the drive too.
