ok i just bought my processor and ahve had my mobo for a while waiting on the cpu. Now i got a job and am looking for a better videocard. Sine my mobo is only AGP i could either get a good AGP card lik a 6800XT or 7800GS, or i could get a new mobo and get a good pci-E card for cheaper than a $300 7800GS. Should i just get a 680XT liek this and keep my mobo?

or get a new s939 mobo with pci-E and get a videocard liek this?

what do you guys think?

I'm willing to spend the extra money if it will help out my computer. thanx.

Quick Question to help me make my decision. What is better oput of these three videocards?
- 6800gt
-6800GS
-6800XT

and are they that much better form a 6600 that i have now.

thanx.

ya speaking of those G80's are those gunna be for pci-E? If so i might just get a pci-E mobo now and wait for the G80's. How much do you think the G80's will go for like $300? or $500? I just heard about G80's but is it a new seris form nvidia or what?

I already made my decision, if i do stick with my AGP card then I'm getting this one:

It's one of the best AGP cards around if you dont wanna spend $300 for a 7800GS.

If i do go with a new mobo with pci-E, then I'm getting a DFI Lanparty mobo, and a 7600GT or any other pci-E card in that range.

Here is an "open box" version of the mobo i want.

I know newegg used to call them refurbished but, not anymore. Is it bad to get a mobo liek that? Cuz if im just missing out on the extras in the box its ok. I already have rounded cables and I can download all the drivers from DFI's website. Should i be ok to get the opne box one? or would it be better to get the new one for $50 more.

Your opinions really matter to me. Should i get the 6800XT AGP? or a new mobo that has a PCI-E slot? and Will an "open box" mobo be ok, especially a DFI Lanparty?

thanx

alrite so i know im going ot get a new s939 mobo with pci-E, and I'm going ot sell my Gigabyte mobo now to my friend. For my price range that i want these are the two motherboards i really like.

eVGA:

or "Open Box" DFI Lanparty:

I knwo that usually people reccomend not to buy refurbished mobos, but the gigabyte mobo i have now was refurbished and it is working fine with no problems. The thing is I need a new PSU too, so if i buy the refurbished mobo or the eVGA mobo I still have enough for a PSU, but if I get the DFI Lanparty new then I'll have to spend more later and get a PSU.

Which mobo do you reccomend that I get?

thANX
