SATA2/IDE Working together?

Will be getting a 320GB WD Sata2 HD in a couple of days because I filled up all 280GB of my space. (200GB main, 80GB slave).

I would like to clean out my 80GB HD and use it as a main drive for the shuttle machine I am building. I want to keep the 200GB HD and use it as a slave.

I think I know how to duplicate the information in my 200GB parition and put it into my 320GB HD using the WD software. What I don't know is how to set this up so that I can use my 200GB HD as a slave.

Do I just plug both it, and they will automatically detect that my 320GB HD is my main drive. Do I have to change the jumpers in any specific way? Thanks for your help!

There should be a "boot priority" setting in the bios.

Ahh thanks, I haven't installed any of the Raid drivers. So in my Bios theres no option for Sata drives, or is that what is labeled as?

If I leave my IDE drive as master, will it still show up in my computers?
