Hows that? The main game I play is css,and I hope to have very high fps(80-100) on high settings. And possibly high fps on Cod2. Thanks for any help

For $500, that's a pretty good build. Everything looks compatible. Not sure of X850XT's performance versus the 7600GT. You may want to look at the 7600GT as an option as well.

i think it looks great! but yea i would look into the 7600GT...cant go wrong with nvidia...but the 850XT is a good card

swap out the x850xt and get a 7600gt.

k thanks for the advise so far, I will put in a 7600 and I also have a memory question. If a mobo can support DDR2 800 ram, cant it also function with any other memory that is lower than 800? Like ddr2 400?

good setup man, however im too lazy to look up your processor, im not sure if this is the one or not, but id consider getting that one processor thats around 100 that overclocks like a dream? the amd one. but otherwise i likey.

6600gt

and i had 99 fps constantly during c:ss

you can get one gig of DDR2 ram on newegg for far less than $99.99. the G.SKILL ram is $70, I believe.

just pointing it out, because budget is a big consideration in you machine
