New Video card on a sony?

9600 is a downgrade from a 9800 pro, and if youre gaming, a 9800 pro is even on the very low end, and completely inadequate for next-gen games.

on the other hand, if youre not gaming or video/graphics editing, or rendering, then you should have no problem.

in other words, if this computer is to be for internet and music, then a 9600 should work fine

OK, this card needs to be able to play counterstrike source. Thats what he wants to be able to do(my friend). I would like a link to a card that would be recommended for this use. I would like the card to be a good value, and it should be compatible with just a 300 watt rated psu. Thx

Anybody else recommend that card? that looks like it would be perfect...price wise too ( my price range is 30-100). All he wants to do is be able to play counterstrike. literaly.This card
