URGENT!! please help me people!

I have NameIONEER DVD RW DVR-106D Type: DVD/CD-rom. Burner and i use Ashampoo burning studio 6 burning software to burn my downloaded divx and avi movies to 700mb data discs.
I have burned about 20 avi movies to these discs in the past and they have worked perfectly on my divx dvd player. But then i recently had a horrible virus on my computer so i re-installed windows xp home edition and ever since, when i burn movies to disc now ashampoo says '' burned successfuly'' but then when i insert the disc in my computer it says ''blank disc'' and when i insert it in my dvd player it says '' no disc'' . please help me, i would be very grateful.

have you finalized the disc when youve completed the burning ? If not try doing that with your copy of ashampoo

Try another burning software like Nero. Or right click the file and click send to DVD/CD and burn it that way and see if that works, Make sure to throw those cd's that didn't burn properly in the garbage.
