Start Menu options & Documents

For some unknown reason , I have lost the option ot "open" or "explore" folders directly from the Start Menu. This was much faster than going via Windows Explorer.
Also, recent Documents are not listed anymore. I have TweakUI, but never opted to cancel either of these functions-likewise goes for IE Privacey Keeper...I've checked and neither indicate choice to prevent recent Documents displayed. Can I reset either or both functiions in regedit?

XP Home . Sorry, sure thought I had all that tech stuff plugged into this site. I'll have to check on that.

I don't know about the right click menus, but for the recent documents, click the Start button, right click the Start menu on a blank spot, and select Properties. Click the Start Menu tabs and (assuming you have the Start Menu option enabled) click Customize. Click the Advanced tab and check the box under Recent Documents.
