will be helpful to post a reply with more details about the problem. does your monitor show anything.. do you hear any beeps... ? if the monitor don't show anything, the problem might be everything.... even vga, cpu, motherboard, or ram. if the monitor is ok, and seems to freeze up on the dim verification, then we know that the problem is ram (but as i always say, we coul'd never be sure) if you got more than one dim of ram, try each one by it's self on the motherboard, because the problem might be at one of them only. if you got one dim, will be good if you try with a different one, so you will be sure what the problem is. other thing might happent, you got dim's with different clock speeds. your ram dim's should be the same speed and compatible with the rest system, motherboard and cpu. have a good work! reply again if you face problems.
