HELP the price has no bearing in this i need the best card for high fps and quality of graphics. if a different card is better than these for £120 then let me know also please.

high fps is not the most important thing. as long as your fps can roughly match your monitors refresh rate and maintain at that rate then it doesn't make a difference.

Like most cards with locked pipelines, a simple BIOS flash will do it. Just use the links and download WinFlash then download the X1800XL BIOS.

You use WinFlash to open the BIOS file, then the program will update the VGA BIOS for you. I've never used WinFlash but it shouldn't be hard to figure it out.

So basically once you flash the BIOS you pretty much turned your X1800GTO into a X1800 XL.
