Best Motherboard Brand

Gust_nul: You have a Abit AN7.

DFI are great boards. I own a ASUS and it is fine. I have overclocked my CPU (boring) with out a problem. I haven't found its limit though.

I like DFI because of the overclocking options (virtually endless). You need to have a good PSU, RAM, and visit DFI Street. All well worth it. I'm running stable fot five months at a 28% overclock. Not a recordbreaker, but pretty good for a nubber.

in this order:

1) DFI
2)Asus
3)MSI

although Asus is good, dfi and msi are known to be one of the best overclockers. specifically the DFI Lanparty series, and the MSI K8N

what would be the best for someone who will never OC and not SLI ?

I highly recommend the MSI K8N Neo4-f motherboard for s939. My friend who was a noob built his and had that mobo and he set it up pretty easily. It's not a bad OCer as well, it's a very solid mobo and it only costs around 80 bucks on Newegg.

Definitly not dfi, something asus, or msi what kind of cpu are you looking to use?

I'm going to have to backup MSI (from personal experience) and DFI (from hearing way too much about them).
