I would suspect that the location would vary greatly depending on the motherboard manufacturer and model. What temperatures do you have? Remember it's the overall ambient temperature inside the case, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Ethereal_Dragon Fully Optimized Messages 3,755 Location USA Jun 14, 2006 #3 I am not POSITIVE, but I believe on some the sensor records the North Bridge temp... Thats what I was told about my Shuttle SN25P motherboard, and was told it was also true for many others... I am not 100% on that though.
