That Cant be right......

A volt modded 7900 GT at 650 with stock heat sink would be melting....

Also since you OCed your 165, what are your ram speeds and whats your timings, and how many MHz they running at?

and no wattage next to the psu?

Its not adding up:confused:

No, a CPU doesn't just explode...you'll start getting stuff like "this program has performed an illegal operation and will now close"...then you'll start getting restarts and BSODs and "the system has recovered from a serious error"

I don't know the details or specifics so I couldn't really tell you, I don't think any physically happens to the processor although there is probably something on a microscopic scale

Think of it like an LCD dying, it doesn't just die, the brightness and colour gets all distorted and it just gets duller and duller

Dang dude, whats with the post-morten on my system?

First, who said the 7900GT was volt modded? Its a 7900GT KO Superclocked that runs at 580/1580 factory overclocked. I overclocked it even more to 650/1750 and its stable. Its relatively hot (56 Idle, 78 Load) but I don't think thats enough to warrant the hassle of a GPU cooler.

Why do you need to know my RAM speeds and timings? And aren't RAM speeds and MHz the same thing? If you must know, its running at a 5:6 divider at 260Mhz. Timings...I don't know and could care less about.

Do you not know the Wattage of a Antec Truepower PSU? Since when did Wattage become more important than ampage?

Stop being so nosy.

I was just curious :)

I was not denying it all and I know that the KO runs at 1.5 voltage just you didnt list it as KO so I assumed it was the regular 1.2 ;)

Now it makes sense:) Of course that thing OCed so high...

and about the ram I was only curious becuase I like seeing other peoples results, not being nosy?

and about the psu the only reason I stated that was becuase it just seemed like you were thinking of somthing off the top of your head..

wow 78 C load thats hot :D might want to look into a aftermarket cooler :D

our systems are very alike indeed...
