SATA150 and SATA 3.0GB/s

Currently, I have 2 SATA150 drives. If I were to buy a SATA 3.0GB/s drive, since thats whats hot lately, would it work side-by-side with my SATA150 drives? My motherboard supports SATA 3.0GB/s.

yes it would work fine in almost any conceivable configuration, most likely even RAID
