Video Card Benchmarks/Testing

Hey all,

Well my 9800 SE card arrived today and I had no problem installing it. I need to say thanks to HoloCron and preet2u for both pointing me in the right direction on how to get my Nvidia uninstalled properly and my 9800 installed.

I tried a couple games quickly and its a huge improvement.

Now, I would like to try to softmod my card, but I'm not sure what program to use to see if I get any improvement when I do this. I think one program might be called 3DMark, but I really not sure. For all I know, that could just be what the score is called.

Ur not wrong ... 3dmark is a benchmarking application.

U could also try out Aquamark

Thanks preet2u for the links...The free versions are indeed what I was looking for. I'm trying not to spent too much more money this week

Apokalipse, I'm not sure if I'm benchmarking or not to tell you the truth. I do know that I would like to see what type of improvements my video card gets when I softmod it. Isn't that benchmarking?

What is SETI@home? Is that a another tool for measuring changes in preformance?
