I have a computer that has no floppy drive. And I need a startup disk for my PC. Is there some way that I could get a startup disk on a CD. I seirously doubt that copying the files to a CD will work.

Please respond.

There are some CD Boot loaders on the internet. Generally they are used for multi-boot cds (see UltimateBootcd.com) That CD has DOS boot disk, but if that is not what you want you are gonna have to make your own.

You can use:
ISOLinux
CD Shell
Bootscriptor
Diskemu

Just google them. You will need the image of the boot disk that you want.

What I need is a startup disk. You know the ones that come with Windows. the floppys. incase you cant boot into Windows the floppy is there. But I need that floppy as a CD.

I need a CD that can do every command and function that the Windows Startup disk can.

Is it a single disk, or an array of different disks?

If it is a single disk then the could just do what I listed above. I know that it is a lot of work just to get boot a cd as a floppy, but I think that this is the only way.
