Seagate 120GB 8MB
Seagate are less expensivve than WD, are just as good with quality, maybe even beter reliability, and are virtually silent

10,000rpm Western Digital Raptor's, not sure the capacity but it's only like 80gb, so you run them in a RAID(I think RAID 0 is the speedy type of RAID, while RAID 1 is for storage...) format to run them even faster You want expensive and you got it

A nice 120gb 7200rpm 8mb cache HD is probably more than enough for everyday usage Seagate and Western Digital make the best I do believe
