Building a Server

Cool....so I was thinking:

-Opteron 170
-some mobo with an nforce4 ultra chipset
-2gb RAM
-2 500GB hard drives in a RAID mirror array

These are all blog websites...not like crazy forums or anything...but the content updates a lot.

Does this sound right?

like he said, you'll want ECC ram, a socket 940, and maybe double the hard drives, blogs tend to archive and have alot of picture/video.
building your own is great, but for server, you might want to go with prebuilt, warranty is alot more important when it's not just your stuff on there. if you do decide to buy, get an IBM blade server. they can be added to. they are a bit expensive though.

here's what look like some decent linux servers.
