Ultra ATA/66 Warning?

I just turned on my computer and it is giving me the following message:

"Warning!! An Ultra ATA/66 (or faster) driver is connected with a 40-pin IDE cable on the secondary channel. Drive speed is downgraded to Ultra ATA/33"

What does this mean and how do I correct it?

it means exactly what it says . there are two types of IDE/ATA cable. the original IDE cable (40 wires) which is only capable of running at ATA33 and there are ATA cables which have an additional 40 ground wires (one between each signal wire for a total of 80 wires) and these can run at speeds of up to ATA133

Has this just happened?

If it has, thats very odd, I would go and get a new IDE cable (get a rounded) and replace all new cables are 80 pin anyway!

Someone from another forum told me that the IDE must be plugged into the blue connector during initial booting. However, when I do that, it does not find the CD and goes back to the black screen.
