Gaming with My Celeron D

Why does it seem to me that Talldude seems to ACT like he knows a lot more than he actually does, from the posts I've seen. Not saying I'm smarter when it comes to computers or anything... But I do my research.

And yeah. Celly's aren't "starter computers", whateverthehell you meant by that. They're home/office processors. If a person's top priority wasn't gaming, and they wanted to save a few bucks, it'd be the best choice.

1. My Celeron overheated to 60 degrees Celcius while trying to play NFS on integrated graphics.

2. I've used Celeron's for years, and using an old Pentium 4 seems like a rocketship to me. And my friends P4 is pretty rough shape...

3. Celeron's are very good, IMO, but i wish i had a Pentium 4 :(

I think your problem there (and with many of your gaming difficulties) is your use of integrated graphics rather than a dedicated card. If you would use a decent gpu then your celeron wouldn't be so overworked and heat up like that.
