I have a smart link modem, Hardware version- sl2800pci, software version-4.20.01. This is the worst modem I've had. you are pushed to another server that is supposedly handling upgrades. As far as I can tell, this is the latest sofware version. My connection stinks. It is not a very srong connection and I have great difficulty getting through downloads and opening up pages. Is there a fix for this problem or should I get another modem. If so which is the best, most reliable and offers the best support? Thanks.
