did i get a good video card?

I have serious doubts it would run it on high at the worst resolution. I've had one and I've had a 6600. The 6600 could not pull off high at a decent resolution with consistent, good frames.

well i've been playin dnd online at 1440x900 on low settings with only 128mb of dedicated ram. so i'm thinking i should get better graphics with the new card. thanks for the input guys.

get more ram too.. at least 512.. all u need is a decent video card.. and AT LEAST 512mb ram to play the new games out today

How can you recommend him getting the X300!!!!? Do not buy it, they get shipped with Dell's and are no good. You be better off getting the same card as me X700 although it will be no good in 6months (depending on what games you play) , the x300 and the fx cards are already no good.
