hey guys! I have $1900 Canadian to spend on a gaming computer, I have more money but im saving some for a particular monitor. So yeah... any suggestions for a new gaming computer in the $1900 price range?? That equals to about $1700 US.

Get the Dell XPS gaming PC. You can even get a nice 30" flat panel monitor from Dell.

lol... I hope your kidding.

DELL is a ripoff, on watever u buy from them, even XPS the "gaming machine"

But yeah get a better hard drive... and dont get a raptor or a 16mb cache.. cause it will only speed up your loading time, it wont effect your fps or game speed.

I would suggest a plain old 8mb cache 7200 rpm and watever amount of space you could afford.

Oh shoot , I did forget the RAM..I knew I was forgetting something. As far as dual core goes...it's not really needed at all unless you're doing a lot of multitasking. Single core can perform very well if you're doing gaming. That CPU would do more than fine.
