I'm looking at the spec and the HP does support SDRAM. Considering it's a pretty old computer it should be using 168pins.

even if it is pc133 wouldn't it still work

If your motherboard dimm slot are pc100 and the ram is pc133, it will work but only at pc100.

that depends on the mobo. most won't recognize pc 133
