T talldude123 Banned Messages 7,915 Jun 5, 2006 #2 Depends on the printer. A B/W laser printer needs one toner, and the color ones need 2 toners. Laser printers last around 6-months of regular printing, i have an old 1991 HP Laserjet, and the ink gets replaced around 6-7 months.

T talldude123 Banned Messages 7,915 Jun 6, 2006 #6 I recommend HP. They started the whole "Laser" printer thing, and still make very good quality printers for the price. Lexmark's are good quality, but aren't user-friendly. The ones at my work are so picky, they beep so many times.

OP OP A arcon5 Baseband Member Messages 59 Jun 6, 2006 #8 Im in the UK. What are samsung liek as a brand for these types of products?
T talldude123 Banned Messages 7,915 Jun 6, 2006 #9 Samsung printer's are OK, but very cheap in quality, and the printouts appear faint in color compared to HP. I'm guessing the ink they use is very cheap. I highly recommend HP, since they have a great reputation with Laser printers.
