vista will run fine with a dx10 card with all eyecandy on. just dx10 games wont work on a dx9 card. and yes the G80 series are dx10 cards

Yet wrong again. Vista will run fine on any video card that handle some kind of 3d. You dont need a 7950 or DX10 card to run Vista. Just at least a DX8 card i would recomend. DX10 games wil be able to run on DX9 cards just w/out the eye candy on. ITs the same as what we have now w/ DX9 and DX8. DX8 cards work w/ DX9 just w/out all the specular lighting.
