Hi im new here and am having an ongoing issue with 2 of my games. first off I have a self built compu with a p4mam4 v base chip set mother board, g-force fx 5500 vid card (256 mb)
intell 4 2.4 gig, 1 gig of memory, maxtor hard drive 120 gig
sea gate hard drive 200 gig, sound blaster audigy sx
sony cdrw rom drive and a dvd-r drive.
I have direct x 9c installed windows xp professional service pack 2.
My problem is ive got 3 games i run on this machine 1 of which isnt effected at all world of warcraft. The 2 games I am having probs with is Blood Rayne 2 and Fable. Every time i start these games they seem to lock up or rather freeze my entire compu up for a few seconds which in turn makes my graphics mess up badly I have done every thing I can think of from registry cleaning defraging deleteing vidoe driver files deleteing and reinstalling the games and still get the problem. Is there any one that can assist me?
