i plan on changing the amd 4400+ to a conroe for my new system coming soon...what motherboard would be best...also maybe change the ram...maybe i'd get the one thats 2.4ghz stock...or is it worth to get the 2.6ghz one?

2.4Ghz, the only reason why 2.6 Ghz costs more is because it has been overclocked to 2.6GHz, its same cache, so stick with the 2.4Ghz. for motherboard, im not so sure cause i've never dwelled around that socket, and for DDR2 either, because again i have never dwelled around that platform.

BTW: i think ur sig is too long, change it before the mods get to u.

I agree you should get the 2.4 and overclock to 2.6 if you want.

anyone famillar with intel mb can suggest a good one for the conore also some ram that is capable with it
