Hi I am looking to build a computer for $1,000 to $1,500. My only requirement is that it can play World of Warcraft on high graphic setting and still have a good frame rate. I already have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard so I don't need any of those. Thanks for your help with this.

most people like AMD's, but an intel with hyper-threading will do pretty much fine. (thats an opinion, not a fact)
Get any lga-775 mobo compatible with 240-pin ddr2 and with a PCI-E slot. (preferably asus)
And any of the 7*** series cards from Nvidia will do just fine, the more expensive=longer time till next upgrade.
And for the case, make sure it looks cool, and has extremely good cooling. check the reviews for that.
for the mobo, case, adn CPU, it is all up to how much you want to spend.
O, and for the HD, get a big maxtor with good reviews.

Stick with AMD unless you would like to wait until July 23 for Intel Core 2 Duo. It's well worth the wait. Going to be an amazing processor.
If you can't wait, get what john3 said. If you don't know anything about (or aren't interested in) overclocking, get an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ or 4400+ instead of the Opteron 170.

Using John 3's as a template, I would get rid of the Raptor as it is a waste of money.
Use value ram, as unless you have money to burn or a die hard overclocker than performance is really not worth it. Spend the money on a decent sound card or anything really.
Peronsally I would have a DFI Lanparty board anyway.
I am slightly bored of Antec, but they are still great PSU's.
And yes, all of this is compatible and BB ready.

You should stick with the Raptor, not only for gaming but for faster everything, and trifid looks like he does have the money seeing as he has 1-1.5k and he already has a monitor.
