Laptop ram

ok just got a cheap laptop off ebay and I am only going to use it for a few things and I found a web site where you can buy ram for this modle that I have and was wondering if I got it if I would be able to install it or would I have to take it somewhere to install it thanks

you should be able to install it yourself. There will be a panal on the underside of the laptop that will let you open it. from there I shouldn't have to explain further. Just make sure the pin are the rigth way.

even if I have a 750MHz processor would I seen any improvement if I added like 128MB or should I add 256MB right now I have 128MB

You should see good improvement. Add as much as you can now.

Its easy to install - all you have to do is open the compartment in the bottom and install the memory like a normal desktop PC.

is it a Pentium 3? you won't be able to run DDR RAM in that laptop if that is the case.

ya it is a P3 but I found ram that is specificaly for my laptop thanks for the responses
