I have just intalled new mb asrock K7VT4A Pro.

I have an Althon 3200+ which always has been running fsb of 333mhz. I had to set the jumpers on the board to 333mhz.

When bios starts it says Athlon XP 2400mhz, and windows says, Athlon 2.33Ghz. I know that this is the correct speed so not worried, but just wonder why, my last 2 mb always introduce as XP 3200+, so did windows.

Just want to know if this is normal, or if I need to change something?

When the computer starts up it says athlon 2400mhz, which it is not. It's a Athlon 3200+ running at 2309mhz. My old mb said it was XP 3200+ and so did windows. Now windows says XP 2.33Ghz, all I want to know is if this is normal?

Hello,

As long as you are sure that your FSB is running at 166Mhz (effectively 333Mhz) then I wouldn't worry.
