Question about ASUS A8N-SLI

not Premium or Deluxe edition or anything, just vanilla.

I've read the comments on Newegg, but it's mixed opinion on my issue, and a lot of fanboy-istic stuff. Anyways, does this board support X2 dual core right out of the box, or do I need to get a flash/drivers for it first? Also, where do I get them, the nVidia nFORCE website or the ASUS website?

You should be able to use the dual core cpu outta the box, but download the latest drivers from the website just in case and put them on a floppy to update it before you put the dual core chip in.

If I'm not mistaken you have a single core 939 also right? If so, put the single core in first and check the BIOS version. If its the same version that you downloaded you're good and you can pop your dual core cpu in and boot up. You can get the drivers from the ASUS website.
