May I connect Mac monitors to PC's?? Or do i need some adapter or anything of the kind??

Thanks

Look at the connector of your monitor, if it fits to the connector of PC than connect it. Anyway I'm pretty sure that you can connect it to a PC. But if you want to be 100% sure go to the Monitor manufacturer site and see in the monitor specs if it compatible to a PC.

If the monitor uses DVI-I or VGA you can. If is uses an ADC connector then you have to use an ADC-DVI bridge or an ADC-VGA bridge. Search Google for more info on both (Dr. Bott sells both types of adaptors)

"Enter the Macintosh"

If your mac monitor fits anywhare in the back of your computer dont use it if the connector looks like this:

* * * * * * * *
* * * * * * *

That means that it's a MIDI\GAME port. (Not for monitors.)

But if it's different, the ATI Radeon 7000 pro is a good choice.

Or, you can just buy a used ATI 3D Rage pro AGP card ($9.00) and you can use your TV as a monitor.

Cool huh?:cool:
