Cursor Keeps Getting Stuck

It happens quite often on a few computers of mine...

firstly i use a different mouse for each com and there also is no mousepad (though i dont tink thats the problem)

often my cursor will get stuck onto an "invisible" horizontal line and will only move in a right or left straight direction, never anywhere else, not up nor down... can anyone help? and suggest what may be the problem?

the problem does not go away until i reboot my com, but after a while the problem comes back...

also, my mouse keeps 'lagging', sometimes though i may drag my mouse at a long distance, still it would not move, thats also another problem

try cleaning the tracks on the mouse .Remove the ball and clean the lint from the tracks . Go to device manager and re-syncronize your mouse .

What kind of mouse is it? If its a USB mouse you can try to reinstall the drivers.

Or just go out and by some trackball mice or some nice laser ones.....and if it still keeps doing that then you know it's not your mice
