Semi Gaming Laptop...

LOL, Well, I need a new laptop, but I don't know where to really begin. I need a laptop that can do everyday tasks for school. I need it to watch dvds and burn disks as well. Also, I won't game on it much, but I 'd like it to be able to play WOW really well. Where should I start?

wow doesnt require much performance
i got a compaq at frys for 600 bucks and ccs flys on its 14" screen
try to do some fairly good research on it though, and stay away from "good quality" cuz their name is contradicting.

Look at newegg and then find the one you like and then use price grabber (if you are really cheap and looking to save like 20 bucks max(I am))

If the link doesn't work. I chose the Inspiron E1705 in Home and Home Office. Upgraded the Video Card to the X1400, the Memory to 1gig at 667mhz, and Combo/DVD Drives to the DVD burner.

all laptops that came out in the last 2 yrs or so have wireless lan :beard:

i suggest youll take that dell with these changes:
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW)
256MB GeForceâ„¢ Go 7800
100GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
1508$ total
