Ok so I have 2 raptor 74 gig 10,000 rpm drives in raid 0. I had 2 74 gig bara cudas also in rade 0 and up graded to the raptors or thought I did. My friend has the same parts as i do he bought my old 7200 hd and when we play bf2 at a lan party he loads and enters the game way faster then I do.Whats up with that???? Is there some test I can do to test them???

The person hosting the game loads faster, it would take awhile for the person connecting to the server to load because the time it takes for data to travel across the LAN.
You can defragment your harddrive to lower the seek time.
I've heard lowering the pagefile speeds up gaming but haven't verify that. You should not disable the pagefile though.

You can use sisoft sandra to test your hdd bandwidth. I dunno about your other question though.

RAM can inhibit your speeds in joining games or loading maps and stuff. Whats your RAM, I would reccomend 1 gig, 512 takes awhile to join and load the map.
