I have a motherboard named pc400 and it uses a SDRAM memory
i bought a fx5200 128mb 64 bit g-force video card when i put the fx5200 in that motherboard it turns blackout, i think the video card that i put is not compatible in that motherboard.... does anyone knows how to trouble it ..... ?

Does p4b asus motherboard which has a DDR and SDRAm memory socket supported the FX5200 128 mb video card ...?

Thanks in advance ..

What is the exact model of you asus motherboard?
When i did a seach at asus for p4b, i only found these 3:
P4BP-MX, P4BP-MX 2.0, P4B533-X

P4BP-MX, P4BP-MX 2.0 These have integrated graphics with no AGP slots.

P4B533-X This one has a 4x AGP slot.

I'm having trouble finding that motherboard.

So, i guess your gonna have to look at the motherboard yourself.
I'm assuming that the video card uses AGP, the AGP slot on the mother board is probably black, and should be the first slot near the Processor.

If the video card fits in the slot, it should be compatible. I'm thinking that your motherboard either supports 2x, or 4x AGP only. Thus the video card should still be compatible.
