X2 4200+ Stock Fan loud @ startup?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any 4200+ users have noticed loud fans upon booting. My fan is loud through loading windows, and once arriving at the log on screen is stops being loud?

Is this normal?

It is your motherboard doing this alot of newer motherboards will spin the fan at full speed on start up. Did you get one of those new Fancy AMD fan's? They look killer!

This may be important to many, as we are talking about a product that performs close to a popular 3rd party heatsink and at no charge let alone it comes with three years warranty on CPU.

over clocked to 2.6ghz the 165 optron ran cooler on the new stock hsf then an xp-90
