hey i have a quick question regarding my laptop. My motherboard was destroyed so am looking to buy another one used. I had an intel pentium m processor. I was wondering if anyone knows if the intel pentium m centrino processor uses the same motherboard socket as the celeron m. I know they both utilize the same chipset, and was just wondering if i could put my centrino processor on a motherboard that used to have a celeron? thanks in advance

You may be able to. As long as they are the same socket and chipset, you should be fine.

didn't quite answer his question, i don't think.

I'd say they do, since this adapter works for both ("you'll need to install a Pentium M or Celeron M processor into the CT-479 socket")
