Getting a BIOS code mismatch error on bootup?

I've got an Acer here that the CPU fan went bad and melted the CPU. So, I put a new P2 out of a server in it. It boots but I get the BIOS code Mismatch error and then a Configuration Error right after that. I can press F1 and it'll start and go into Win98. Should I do a BIOS update? I'm at ver 3.1 now so I'm sure there is one out there. I've flashed the BIOS already.

where do I do that? Command prompt? I don't have a Win98 disk here at work.

Or just resent the CMOS.

Well, I tried both of those. No worky. THe only option I have in BIOS is to reset the default settings. No optimized or anything like that.
