Stock CPU fan on VGA

Yea that too. If it's too heavy just shave some heatsink off. Either on the top or the sides (sides would be the best).
 
I could also use my moms old compaq that sits in the corner Atholon XP CPU fan...I doubt it would be as heavvy and Im sure itd do the job with the cooling.


any other ideas? or should I just buy a VF900...I dont feel like "wasting" money when a cool project is upon me, but I dunno...whats your take on it guys?
 
Idk man i like seeing a big *** HSF on a video card for looks. I got my old TI 500 (Geforce3) back from a friend and noticed when i got it back that the stock HSF was all messed up cause he didnt take care of it. I took all the heatsinks off of it, cleaned it up, and mounted an AthlonXP 1500+ HSF to it. I also put some big ram heatsinks on there and put a fan that Nubius gave me on it that runs at 8000rpms!!! :D Needless to say its really loud but it ONWS!
