Hello, Just after some help.

I have recently reformatted my PC and reinstalled windows. I have 2 IDE drives installed. 40gig western digital (set as primary master) and a 80 gig western digital (set as primary slave).

My problem is that it recognises drive C:\ (The master) in My Computer, but doesn't display the other IDE drive in the My Computer Folder. However in Device Manager, It tells me that it recognises the other drive and tells me it is working properly!

Any ideas on how I can get the other drive to be displayed in the my computer folder?

Thanks!

go to START>CONTROL PANEL> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS> COMPUTER MANAGEMENT> RIGHT CLICK THE DRIVE hit format (only do this if the drive has no data that you want to save> and assign it a letter

if the drive does have data on it that you want to keep, see what happens if you assign it a letter.
