FSB Can i use 533 on 800?

OK if a motherboard like the following:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813123247

Had a Intel Pentium 4 Processor 534+ 3.06 Ghz 533 Mhz FSB 1MB L2 Cache

Would it work? because Newegg shows it as a 1066/800 mhz FSB board. So a 533 can't run on it? Right?

If its same socket it might just work.... not sure though how well will it do lol cause its designed for higher fsb cpu's.. but then again.. a ddr 500 ram will work on a ddr 400 board lol.. so why wont an 533 fsb cpu work on a 800 fsb compitable mobo.. XD... but check the socket first........ thats easiest way totell...

I asked allot of people, and they said that since my processor is hyper threading that the 1066 is actually a HT number (533 x 2 is 1066)

I hope they were right :-D. Sweet board though, comes with a 3.5" drive bay USB port (2) / Firewire and some other expansion slot stuff. I'm in love

Went ahead and bought PNY Ram (2x512) with a heatspreader (i'm a sucker for heatspreaders) and a x1600Pro Radeon 512 MB 533 mhz core clock, 750Mhz memory clock, with Shader model 3.0 and 12 pixel shader pipeline. I'm so excited lol
