I am looking at putting in a SERIAL ATA 150 hard drive into a computer. I would like atleast 60 or 80 gigs. I usually don't shop on Tiger Direct but I saw they haver refurbished hard drives at good prices. I would think they are as good as a brand new one. What is a good reliable brand name to go with also. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I always stick to Seagate unless it is too good of a deal to miss. I don't have a personal problem with B grade items, as they are usually returned products. If there is a fault with the drive, return to manufacturer and get a new one.

Assuming having a refurb still gives you warranty coverage, some don't so you'll want to be sure of that. Seagate and Western Digital are both very good brands. I know that Tigerdirect has some specials on Maxtor drives, don't buy them they crap out pretty easily.
