Unlocking fan controle

I looked in bios and there was no fan contrl of any kind, I have sandria light and it said that fan contrl is not enabled. I have just boutght a new fan that sounds like its going to explode. i need to know how to enable it by any means

the fan has to be plugged in to the mobo, via the little 3 pin plug, in prder to allow for altering the fan speed, then try it on speed fan or something

ok i have the same problem.. srry for highjacking but i have it plugged into a 3 pin on my mobo and i used speedfan and everest and it doesn't recognize it... wut do i do? i have an intel easton mobo.

yes... I assumed that that was understude but ok, is there something that must be enabled in order to enable fan controle?

It should be in your BIOS under "PC Health Status".

Not all motherboards are designed that way, read the motherboard manual, and reviews online.... It also can be that you need to update your bios.
