amd 64 2800 vs ath. xp 3200

Which should i get the computer sceps are the same and cost the same except for the processor. One has an amd 64 2800+ the other has an athlon xp 3200+. I am wanting to know which should i go for speed or 64 bit.

Hmm, haven't seen any benchmarks for the AMD64 2800+, so I can't give you an opinion basised on facts, but I would think that 2800+ would be faster due to the on-die meory controller in most cases

the 2800+ is basiaclly an underclocked 3000+ newcastle core. If it's fast then the 3200 xp i doubt it, but that depends on the program running.
