File Type not showing up???

on the folder options dialog... Under view, "Apply to all folders".

Close all open folders, make sure the Hide extensions is unchecked and then click "Apply to all Folders". That should do it.

its not letting me select apply to all folders just apply.

is there an error or you don't see the button.

no the button is there but greyed out. thats when I do it from control panel. But when Im in my music folder and select folder option and then view tab and then it shows me apply to all folders. I did that but it still wont show me types of files in windows media player.
