Planning on doing a air conditioner to pc setup

make sure it's a good enough unit to take out all of the humidity otherwise you will get condensation inside the case.

Yes condensation is your big big worry, crack that chesnut and you should be ok.
Also i'm not sure if there might be some static conciderations

You will get condensation more than likely, if at all possible get an AC unit, have a duct going from that into a dehumidifier then from that into the PC case, and have the case completly sealed up, and one big outlet in the top of the case and the back with very high CFM fans... You don't want any normal air getting mixed with the cool air or you will have a mini rain shower in your PC.
