what do you think about this video card?

What do you mean by faster??? RAM will make your system faster, a better CPU will make your system faster... What do you do with your system? This might work out and it's cheaper, if you don't need that good of a card...

I mean that i want to increase the overall performance. I use my PC for everything and just a little gaming, but games are not my primary interest. So you think this card is ok for just general use?

what are you other system specs? Getting a 7600GT is nice and yes it's a pretty good card, but if you only have 256 ram then I would say upgrade that first...
