Slow downs in Games?

Well you don't have your settings too high then.. It can't be paging as you have 2gb ram...

Not sure, try completely uninstalling both your GFX and sound drivers then reinstall them with older versions.

Does the sound stutter or anything like that during these slowdowns?

OR your antivirus is updating/scanning in the background

I have the same problem but with WoW. I used to be able to run it at full settings with no lag but now after I play a few hrs, the performance just goes down the drain. It requires me to restart my computer during raids and after a few hrs of gameplay consistently. I don't see what the problem is... I now play with low-mid settings and I still get this problem. I have 2 extra fans which I added a while ago: one gfx card fan and 1 exhaust fan.

i think i fixed the problem, i recently add a another hd, regular 120 gig ide driver, and i did place it right under my raptor drive, maybe they were gettin too hot next to each other and cause things to slow down, i placed them no in diff places and i dont seem to get the slow down now, go figure
