Reformatting please help

XP auto detects and installs all the plug and play device drivers.
Then check for updates.Just install XP,it includes all this.
Do you have a XP cd and 6 floppies ?

Make sure to enable PNP/PCI in Bios

Whenever I'm staging a new system without any drivers, I'll always make sure to have a working NIC or modem dirver. Then, I can get to the internet and the rest of the drivers can be retrieved or sent from there.

Hi kmodd nice to meet you !
Usually when I got PC with no drivers disks available I just save to CDR entire windows folder with files and later some specific driver if any can be pulled out from there.
